Can anyone help please...

I`m hoping this could be something simple if not I think I might have lost the will to live

My daughter send a document to me by email..she then spent 2 hours adding to this etc as it was `homework`...we saved it as she went along using the little square box at the top of the page.

I then emailed the finished document back to her, but what we have is the original document and not the finished one with all the extra work...and we havn`t a clue where it could have gone.

Please can anyone help, or will we have to start again from scratch?

Thank you.

If it was edited from within the email, and you clicked YES to the prompt about saving changes to the email, then opening the email again would show the edited attachment.

I am so grateful for the link and have one relieved daughter!

bod1467, we saved it as we went along from within the attachement to the email, but it somehow didn`t save!! not sure what went wrong, but at least we have it now and in future will open up a new document.
