How do I make them STOP!

I have a small debt with my prev energy company that I'm on a payment plan for, and been on since autumn last year. All payments are up to date.
In June I started getting letter from a DCA demanding payment of this debt. Huh? I wrote to them and told them there was a payment plan in place and I phoned the energy company who confirmed this.
The DCA asked me to provide details of the plan and proof of payments made. Yeah ok! Surely it's not my job to do that, and if they are legitimately acting as an agent for the energy company they can sort it out with them. I wasn't going to spend my time, effort and money to do it.
But the DCA still send me letters and now threaten a home visit. !!!!!!? :rotfl:
So how can I make them STOP!!!

Hi,
The letters are just threatograms, if you are in a payment plan for this account you can just ignore the DCA, or, if they are "annoying you" send them a letter stating what you have said, that you are in a payment plan with the original creditor and if they persist in sending you correspondence about this matter you will report them to the OFT for harassment, and also add that you withdraw your implied consent for them or there agents to visit your home address, and if they ignore your request you will report them to the police for trespass, that should do the trick !!

hi, this has happened a few times with me so I just write back with a copy of my income and outgoings and let them know that I already have a payment plan in place and hope they would continue to accept the agreed figure. They have all agreed to the agreed amount. My logic is if you keep them informed and uptodate the dca's play fair but you get problems if you chose to ignore correspondence from them0

I'm in a payment plan with the energy company, so I'm puzzled how and why a DCA is getting involved :huh:0 -

I will certainly write them and mention withdrawal of the implied consent. Thank you for that.0 -
One department not talking to another probably.
Send you energy company a written complaint asking why a DCA is contacting you when you have an arrangement in place. Send signed for.
Tell DCA you are paying company and to go away. Report to OFT if they don't. Tell them you also complained about them to energy company.:beer:0 -

Done that but they haven't, hence the thread!
Will have another go. 0 -
Report them to the OFT.
Try writing to company you are paying and ask them what the hell they are playing at? It screws up their complaint stats and likely you can refer to energy ombudsman if they fob you off.
