Hi all
I feel a bit daft asking this, but in my living room i have got some feather pillows thati put my pillowcases. But the feathers keep sticking through the cases and pricking you lol
Is there any way of stopping this? Do the need a liner ?

Yes, go to any shop which sells pillows etc and you can buy liners very cheaply. They might not stop it entirely but will reduce it.0 -
Not daft at all Bella.
I use old pillowcases inside my good ones.
My husband & eldest son are asthmatic & our old sofa's cushions were feather & it helps to provide an extra barrier and reduce the prickling from the feathers.
I still double up though on all the pillows as it helps to keep the innards clean too.0 -

We were able to get wool filled pillows. These are very good for asthmatics.0 -
Thanks Glyn, I now have a mixture of wool, woolmix, dunlopillo & quallofil? pillows & cushions (& a few feather ones - which are rarely used now).0

Ikea pillow protectors are really cheap, really thick and good, they also bump up a failing pillow"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0
