These are all fair arguments, and I'm definitely going to think about it properly. I didn't like being pushed into the first policy to come along, so I've turned it down for now. I'm going to look at a few policies and maybe get something that fits my needs a bit better.
I know it's come to a head because I am sorting out a mortgage, but I never had income protection before when I was renting, so there's no real change, if I lose my income I potentially lose my home whether rented or bought. I need to think about this a bit more.0
