As part of our finance rework we'd like to open a new bank account.
We are also about to make applications to remortgage.
Is it worth waiting until the new mortgage gets agreed or will it not make any difference?

Another credit search now may turn your mortgage application from a pass to a fail if your case is on the borderline to start with.
Leave any further credit applications until after the mortgage completes, unless you apply to the same lender for the account at the same time as the mortgage application.I am a mortgage broker.
