Hi .... I am looking to buy a couple of gifts for my Great Niece in Australia. Her Birthday is Christmas Eve, and then of course a Christmas gift. I left it late last year and it cost me £20 in postage alone. I need to post something surface mail to make a saving on that. I plan like last year on one of the gifts to be clothing ( a coat last year) and one a toy. However, I'm not sure what 3 year olds are into. I have seen that Home and Bargain do Minnie Mouse walkie talkies for £10 and it says 3+ but wondered if there is something specific that is in at the moment up to about £15 for the toy part of the gift
Thanks
Thanks

Our granddaughter loves the Happyland toys from Mothercare/ELC.
She also loves to make things and loves the Moon Dough kits.

The Cheapest place I have found it is in Home Bargains at up to half the price of elsewhere.Kits start at £2.99.
It is quite light so should not be expensive to post.0 -
Thanks for that. We don't have a Mothercare, will take a look in Home and Bargain0

My dd is just 3 and loves dressing up, dollies, books, Barbie type dolls and craft things (drawing, colouring, sticking, play doh). She's quite girly and not tempted by her brothers many types of wheeled toys (planes trains and automobiles!) I'm afraid we perpetuate the stereotypes here!Bossymoo

Thanks got some ideas now. As I said one of gifts will be toy, one clothes. Last year took advantage of TU at Sainsburys 25% off and got a lovely coat but as I need to post by 30th doubt there will be another before then.0

Theres something called an Aqua Doodle rainbow, which is a mat and you get special brushes, when you dip them in water and paint on the matt it comes up in different colours - not completely sure how it works but I've heard good things about it! Usually £24.99, but on offer for £10 in John Lewis, can also get it cheaper than RRP (24) on Amazon I think!0
