hey guys...
need some advise.
I was recently traveling after leaving school, and just settled into my first real job....and I love it.
so basically I was left money around £6k but not recived it yet will get it in the next year...
anyway I have seen a flat in which I would like to buy(morgage) for 65000. I would be able to put 3000 to it for fees ect... and my parents would lend me the 6k for deposit... but as I have just started working ect.. I wouldn't get a mortgage.
is there anyway around this? eg - my mum co-signing but id like it in my name - my parents are great and just payed there mortgage off last year? so there credit ect is good. Ive had a look at my credit score it is fair as I have not had any credit?
please help?
Am I wasting my time?

You might need to wait a while as certain lenders will ask for different things in terms of employment (3 months, 6 months etc). First thing really to do is see if your are eligible with your employer for a morTgage, you can ask them direct or name them and someone around here will probably know what they require. You don't mention the figure but they decide how much they will lend you based on your salary. Also the bigger the deposit the better rate you will get. Sounds like you need to do some research
Good luck. Aim - BUYING A HOUSE  by November 2013!Saved = 100% on 03/07/12 :j0
