EGG - Removal of Default Notices

In regards to the above, I got my CC charges back from Capital One then attempted to get them to remove the (non charge fault) default - but they sent me back a document saying the law changed last november and that they can actually continue to divulge this info to the credit agencies.... that there is no legal thing stopping them. Not sure if i have the energy to keep trying
