Why would you leave it vacant when you can just stay in both places some of the time.
Because there would be nothing there. We'd be moving in to the new property so all of our belongings would come with us. The new property is already insured as a vacant property. We want to move there to make work life and home life easier. There would be no point in moving if we have to split our time between two houses; we may as well just carry on as we are which is what we may end up having to do based on what the HA comes back with.0
