How/Where to buy Wholesale?

Hi... apologies if this is in the wrong forum - please feel free to move it.
I'm looking for somewhere to buy discounted/wholesale household stuff. There are a few cash and carry type places not too far from me (Booker, Batleys, Makro etc.) but they all seem to be really strict about their requirement for their customers to be a registered business. And, well... I'm not.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

Do what I did and make a friend of someone who has one of these cards!!!
Seriously though, if you want to buy stuff in large quantities there are some places such as B.A.T.A that sell some items like washing powder, bleach etc but I'm not sure if they're cheap or not.
Some of the chinese supermarkets in Leeds have catering sizes of white vinegar (very cheap) and that sort of thing.

Thanks, all...
sara - what is BATA? I checked on Metacrawler and got something about Albanian Travel Agents...
I'll check out the Makro option - and I've sent DH on a mission to find out if the company he works for can get us some sort of membership.
I've only been here a couple of days but I'm really getting the money saving bug
