Help my memory - Fees

Hi,
I seem to recall a TV program this year about Mortgages and Application Fees. It something to do with the pros / cons of adding the fees to the mortgage. Something about what happens if an application fails or changes (I just can't remember).
Can anyone help ?

What happens if the application fails depends on terms of the fees which can vary between lenders. Generally a product or application fee is not charged if you don't draw down funds but a booking fee can be. Not all lenders allow you to add the fees.I am a Mortgage Broker

Need more details to be able to discuss.
Some lenders will have fees, some won't. Some will approve you before taking fees, some won't. Some will charge you for changing product, some wontPoorMoon
