advice re £30k debt

Partner is £30k in debt, we live in scotland, debt with various credit cards, etc. Should she consolidate into one loan, do you get loans for that amount? any advice appreciated. Shes worried about approaching any of these debt advice companies in case it worsens credit score, help

That's pretty much no, and no.

If she has 30k debts and can't meet the contractual payment then her credit score is not what she should be worrying about.

She could post the detail on here or run the situation past National Debtline for independent advice.

Do you have any joint financial products like loan, overdraft or mortgage?

Nothing joint, payments can be made, just going to take forever to pay off due to all the interest, whats an IP?

You do need to take advice from someone who can help you explore the options, and the options available in Scotland are different from those in England/Wales.
