How to keep our bathroom dry?

Hi everyone
Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I figured OS-ers are pretty resourceful and might be able to come up with some ideas for my dilemma.
We've just moved into a house that has a shower over the bath - a very powerful shower. There is a small shower screen next to the shower unit, however we can't seem to shower without the entire bathroom getting soaked?! As in, the toilet, floor, windowsill, sink are all sprayed by it...
I was thinking we need some sort of 'free standing' shower screen that we can put round the bath to keep the overspray contained but can't seem to find anything suitable (reasonably priced). We're renting so can't put up a shower rail for a curtain unfortunately.
Any ideas??
Cheers

You can get tension poles for shower curtains which wouldn't leave marks on the walls..

a lot of shower rails are just sprung so they wouldn't need to be screwed into the wall or you could ask the landlord, I'm sure they'd rather a curtain be put up than the bathroom be continually soaked.Over futile odds
