Budding astronomers will be enthralled with this fascinating educational toy. One of the globes projects star constellations onto the ceiling and demonstrates how stars move in the night skies. The other globe projects images of all the major planets and their relative positions
Children can select switches that will either show projected images, or one that shows celestial movements that are accompanied by a commentary that provides plenty of interesting comments. A light pointer is also included in this Double Globe Planetarium Set. This can be used to find and focus on chosen stars.
An incredible CD-ROM is included in the box which can be used to trace planets, stars and constellations. This also gives children guidance on where to find these objects in the sky at any given time. The colourful manual also provides information about the planets as well as giving an insight into the legends that created the signs of the zodiac.
