Black Jeans That Don't Fade Quickly

I am trying to look for a decent pair of black jeans which don't fade after a couple of months of washes. I have tried several regular priced brands, and 2 designer brands and they all fade, especially on the seam areas, ie around pockets, down the legs.

I am washing as per the manufacturers instructions and don't have this problem with any thing else in my wardrobe, just black jeans.

I have found that the best way to prevent any jeans from fading is to:
Turn jeans inside out prior to washing.
Don't add any detergent.
Add a little fabric conditioner.
Dry and iron inside out.
I have used this method for years and it has prolonged the colour of my jeans. Most detergents are too strong for coloured fabrics.

Topshop jeans don't fade! They're fantastic quality - you do have to pay a little extra, but its worth it.
Some Forever 21 jeans are great quality as well but some do fade a little - varies style to style.

I have this problem with River Island jeans and for £45 I wanted better from them!!

Recently saw on Buzzfeed adding 1/2 cup white vinegar to wash cycle helps the color stay. Also do a cold water wash, if it gets them clean enough for you. Also - this may be obvious but don't hang them to dry in direct sunlight, and if you iron them do so inside out.
