HOW YOU MAKE A NOT NORMAL BID:
Choose your dream MINI.
Place a bid: something you’re prepared to do for a MINI. It could be changing your name by deed poll to MINI Cooper, being The Shard’s window cleaner, feeding a shark while dressed as a halibut, whatever. We're looking for the most inventive bid – proving your passion for MINI.

DAILY WINNERS.
Every day one randomly selected bid will receive a NOT NORMAL T-shirt. So get involved.

BIDDING, VOTING AND GLOATING.
Our judging panel will select the most inventive bids to go through to a public vote. Then there’s no chickening out!

Voting: 3 Oct – 10 Oct
The winner will be announced on Facebook and Twitter.

THE LEGAL AND LOGISTICS BIT
Don’t forget it’s up to you to arrange the logistics of what your bid entails (as always T’s and C’s apply). Your bid must be able to be wrapped up by 30 Oct (hope you’re not camera shy, we’ll be filming you for proof).

The Submission phase will be open from 12th September 2013 until 23.59 30th September 2013 (GMT).

To take part, participants must submit their ‘Not Normal Bid’ in 140 characters or less via the Not Normal Auction app on the MINI UK Facebook page. The submissions will be featured on the Not Normal Auction Gallery page once they have been moderated by the Promoter, whereby they may be viewed, shared and liked by those visiting or directed to the relevant competition pages.

All “Not Normal Bids” must be completed before the car is provided and must be able to be completed by 31st October 2013.

The participant is responsible for all costs associated with completing the Not Normal activity and the activity is carried out at the participant’s own risk.

MINI UK are not liable for any incidents or injury that might occur whilst the Not Normal activity is being undertaken.

Participants must submit their “Not Normal bid” along with their full name, email address, the choice of car from the selection and agree to these terms and conditions.

Participants have the right to enter a submission more than once – no less than 1 hour apart.

All submissions must be submitted in English.

All valid entries submitted will be moderated and, if compliant, will be entered into the Not Normal Auction Gallery page.

The Judging phase runs from 1st October 2013 to 3rd October 2013. Where the entries will be shortlisted before being put through to the Phase 3 “The Voting phase”.

All valid entries will be moderated and shortlisted by the Judging panel. This will include a representative from MINI UK, and 2 independent representatives

Entries will be judged on the following criteria: The Not Normal lengths people will go to to be a MINI driver, entertainment value and creativity. The entries must not be deemed dangerous or illegal and must be able to be realistically completed by 31st October 2013.

The shortlisted entries will be revealed on our social channels on 3rd October 2013

The number of entries that go through to the voting stage is at the discretion of The Promoter.

The voting phase runs from 3rd October 2013 until 10.00am on 10th October 2013.

There is a maximum of 1 vote to the competition per Facebook account.
The submission with the most votes at the end if the voting phase wins “The Main Prize”.

The winner will be announced publicly once it has been confirmed that the winning bidder can complete their “Not Normal activity” by the 31st October 2013.

Throughout the 19 days of the Submission Phase (12th September 2013 – 30th September) a daily prize will be awarded at random to participants of the competition.
There are a total of 19 daily prizes. The prize is a Not Normal branded t-shirt.
The daily prize will be selected at random from the list of total submissions each day, the list of entries will be pulled at 5.00pm each day and sent to Capita who will randomly select a winner.

The prize is as stated, non transferable and no cash alternative is available. If for any reason the prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.

There will be 1 winner who will be provided with The Main Prize: A MINI on loan for 12 calendar months, from the core range, that they must select when the “Not Normal bid” is placed, including Hatch, Paceman, Roadster, Clubman, Convertible, Coupe, Countryman, Clubvan.
The car will be insured and taxed by BMW (UK) Limited.
A full licence check will be needed of the winner and the winner must have held a full UK Valid licence for a minimum of 2 years
We have the rights to reject the winner subject to previous fines and convictions.
The winner must comply with the age restrictions / eligibility criteria for the engine derivative –For personal use only.
No business use will be covered except commuting to a single place of work – i.e. not travelling sales or multiple office sites.
Terms and conditions for the loan of the vehicle are included in the loan form that the winner must complete in order to driver the vehicle.
The winner will be responsible for all other personal expenses.
Drivers must be over the age of 21 and have a valid credit card.
The winner is not insured to drive the vehicle outside of the UK.
The colour of the model depends on availability and may not meet the request of the winner.
At the end of this loan, you will pay excess mileage charges at 4 pence per mile for each mile covered in excess of the maximum total mileage of 5000 miles (unless the loan ends because the vehicle is declared a total loss or is stolen) The maximum annual mileage is 10,000 miles.
Vehicle delivery is subject to standard factory lead times, depending on model.
