I am very pleased to announce that my hubby reached his debt free day yesterday!!!!
I would put him on the roll of honour but don't know his full details!!! ( debt was near on 20k)
We got together 7 years ago and I knew very quickly that he was in debt ( we had known each other a lot longer so became very close very quickly) He was robbing peter to pay paul and was at his wits end.We found this site very quickly.
We agreed - I wouldn't give him any money to pay his debt.
I tried to offer other support as best I could - moral support and a decent feed every so often.
Thank you again from me on our behalf.

thanks all for the messages! I will be popping in still as the advice here for budgeting is as practical as the oldstyle board!
carol1963 - can't think of specific things at moment - but the main boards that helped us were this, oldstyle, freebies & the grioceries one. Mix them altogether and great tips ahoy!!:j I feel I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe :j0 -
