Doors Open Days Scotland -weekends in September

As in previous years for the month of September there are a number of places "opening their doors" and in some cases offering guided tours during weekends in the month of September (all for free)
The main webpage is here and searches can be done by date or area.
At a quick glance there are some fairly interesting places which wouldn't normally be as readily accessible.
May keep some children amused over the next few weekends

One for the footie fans... well St Mirren fans mainly... but St Mirren Park is taking part on the doors open day on Sunday. Great chance to see behind the scenes at the club for free. I've been on the paid tour and I enjoyed it, but for footie anoraks this is a great opportunity.
