Im looking a sunroom built, recommend a builder in the Lisburn/belfast area?

Would be about 5m long by 3.5m wide, any rough idea on costs and if planning permission required on a semi detached house?

Cheers

    No idea on cost.

    Yes, you'll need planning permission.

If its going to be quite window intensive, budget approx £150 per sheet of glass for good quality fitted blinds to keep the sun out during the summer and the heat in during the window. I think ours came to £1500 in our sunroom and theres 7 panes and double doors.

You don't necessarily need planning ... depends on the site, scale of room, permitted development etc... amongst others
Sent you a pm with recommended builder
    A recent one we done was 3m x 4m & cost around 10k

With the size the O/P is talking i think it will need planning permission. Having said that, their architect is the person for them to ask, not us on a forum with no sight of the plans

    Full information on it

    This company http://www.dcwindowsanddoors.co.uk/

Very friendly and efficient young man. Sun rooms and conservatories are what he does. He converted a conservatory to a sunroom two doors down from me and the people are delighted with it. I came across him by accident on an internet search and only found out after he's done work to our house that he was the guy who did the conversion. The work he did for us was excellent too and I'm getting him back to do other repairs.

He's only in Belfast so I see Lisburn and Belfast as no problem to him.
