  • I wish there were more hours in the day because then perhaps I might "Catch up" too - saying that I do tend to procrastinate, I'm so easily distracted.
A closed mouth gathers no feet.
  • I try to stay on top of comps, dailies and daily mags but it's not a mustt and if I'm behind, its okay. Got to live, haha :)

I'm really behind just now with being so busy but instead of just going through them and entering, I try and make it more fun for me. I think about what I'd love to win, say clothes, and I go through all the pages entering only fashion/fashion gift card comps. Then I think "beauty products" and I go through entering any make up/beauty comps and so on. It might take a bit longer but I've actually found it works better for me and I can sit for longer periods quite happily comping!!

I spend between 2 to 3 hours in the morning, working through my bookmarked comps, dailies and mag dailies, to catch up, I then do some bookmarking in the afternoon/early evening before going to work.
  • i try my hardest to keep up and sometimes get quite in front with the comps but then something always crops up and stuff to do, kids and housework etc so yeh i find it hard to get all comps done. just had a 3 day break from comping cause ive been too ill so i'm quite behind but i just do what i can :) xxx

At the end of the day, we can only all do what we are able to do in the time we have put aside each day for comping. I don't think there is one person on here who could honestly say 'there is not a single comp I need to enter right now and I am completely up to date' because there is always another comp we could enter - another chance to win.

When you start getting stressed or jealous of other compers who, for example, might say they enter 500 comps a day compared to your 250, then that is when the fun starts to disappear and what should be a hobby and starts to become a chore, a battle, a race!

I have days when I wake up early and get all my dailies done then comp on and off throughout the day and then I go to bed thinking 'yeah, I got through loads today!' But I also have days when I feel ill, tired, or I have other commitments that prevent me from getting much comping done at all - especially around weekends/holidays etc. Those days used to stress me out but now they don't as I have learned to accept that I can only do my best and keep my fingers and twinkly toes crossed! I just keep telling myself 'comping is my hobby' and hobbies are there to be enjoyed at out leisure!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
