Valuation Delay

Hi I have just received an email from my ifa to state the following from the Halifax:
"We have received notification that the valuation inspection on the property for the above mortgage application has been delayed
We will email you again once the valuer has been able to rearrange the appointment."
I am unable to get in touch with the vendors sols as they are now closed, does this sound like a standard email as they have not been able to value within a set time they wished to or could it be an issue with the mortgage itself, the vendor was very keen to sell and the estate agents today agreed a exchange date for the end of November, so seems very strange. The vendor works night shifts as does her partner so would think they would have been someone available.
Thanks

Doesn't sound unduly problematic at this point. Just because someone works night shifts doesn't mean they are available during all daytime hours because they are likely to need to sleep!0
