Saints row IV

Anyone else played saints row iv? I got it on release day to fill the gap untill gta comes out but i hate the superpower rubbish and wish they stuck with the gang stuff like the other 3 games :mad::mad::mad:

I remember playing it briefly, cant say I was a fan of it. I much prefered the previous 2.

Was hoping to pick up Saints Row IV as the previous 2 had been pretty fun. Especially with doing the missions with a mate via Co-op mode. First one was pretty difficult though and not that much fun

Well I can't drag my OH away from Saints Row IV at the moment so I guess he approves. Then there'll be GTA V, then Battlefield 4, then COD Ghosts.

I might get an actual conversation out of him about xmas time if I'm lucky.

They're too noisy for me all those games. It's just crash, bang, wallop.

He does occasionally pause for food but other than that it tends to go on until he can no longer physically keep his eyes open.

He's cursing at the moment. He's been waiting for some other game to be delivered and it's finally arrived today. Unfortunately it would appear he ordered the add-on pack rather than the actual game. Not his fault of course.

Saints Row IV is probably the most fun I've had from a game this year. Yes, it's absurd, over the top and completely stupid, yet I was grinning all the way through it. For what it was, it was a fantastic game. Definitely not the best game of the year, but its the one I've had the most fun with.

Have to agree with everything Tony said above, loved it!! Just trying to get 100% completion at the mo, currently on 98%

I hear so much mixed opinions on this game. I'm really not sure if I should get it. Are the people that didn't enjoy it only mad, because of the superpowers? I mean, isn't that just in the style of the Saints Row over-the-top action?
