When was the last time you made a payment to this account?

Have you acknowledged that the debt is yours in writing at all or on a telephone call that may have been recorded?

Has any court judgements been made against this debt?

Not made any payments since 2000 or 2001 no not phoned or acknowledged anything, and not had any court judgements my credit file is all clean.

Then send them the Statute Barred template letter found on the main page. Send it and forget about it, they may chase you for a little while but just ignore them as the most they can do is ask you nicely to pay it back. They will soon get bored.
  • Just one more thing though, it is unsecured credit correct?

Not even sure what its for, but i never had any secured loans or anything, they had this passed to them by aktiv kapital who have phoned and sent letters also in the past.
  • Sent rossendales a the letter from here, but just had a call from them on my mobile not sure where they go it from ?

But i told them i sent a letter said they have not had one and will make a note that they spoke to me today, this debt is going back 13 years cant wait for them to knock my door.
  • When you spoke to them on the mobile did you ask what the debt was for?

I thought Rossendales only dealt with Public sector debt (like rent arrears DVLA fines etc) but I could be wrong?
