Remortgaging with low ltv but wanting to include extention

Hi there,
I currently have 20 ltv. Our mortgage rate is not great so we are looking to remortgage. Is it possible to get a remortgage to include the money for an extension? Bearing in mind the extension should increase the value of the property and therefore maintain the ltv rate or possibly improve the ltv.

Yes it is possible depending on how much you want to borrow etc.0

The current property value will be used to calculate the LTV and the product available. The improved valuation after an extention is built, will be ignored.I am a mortgage broker.
