preordering a game in store

Options
if i preorder the new call of duty game in my local asda how much do they want as a deposit? also when is the latest date they are likely to take preorders?
i just dont want to face the fiasco of last year where a minute before they started to sell they suddenly told people to seperate into 2 queues, xbox and ps3. people were pushing in and when i tried to keep my place people were accusing me of pushing in.

  • Normally a £5 deposit will secure your pre-order in most stores. As for the last day you can pre-order the game that depends. If the game is for Xbox One/PS4 I would suggest ASAP. If it is for the Xbox360/PS3 Im not sure the game will sell out due to the new consoles being released. To be sure, I know my local Game are taking preorders of CoD Ghost up until the day before release on Xbox360/PS3

re the queues yeh I had that when fifa was released a few years ago, they could have put up a sign for PS3 to the left and Xbox to the right before the queues started. You could pre order it from amazon for £35 to save yourself the hassle of queueing at Asda.

i dont want to order online simply because the best prices arent set until the last minute. if i ordered on online it would be processed a few days before to arrive on the day of release. so i wouldnt get the best price.
although if its only £35 at amazon it maybe worth it as i cant see asda beating that price.
