Sorry having a mad moment & can't find the slow cooker thread 
but was wondering if I could cook a ratatouille in my slow cooker alongside my gammon joint & roughly how long would you give it?

I don't see why not. Anything that gets cooked on the hob on a low heat can be cooked in a slow cooker. I'd prepare it on the hob to begin with you need a high heat shallow frying several of the ingredients and chuck it in for not much more than a few hours.:footie:

vegetables tend to cook slower in a cooker than meat for some reason [what is the reason by the way?] so don't be surprised if they take longer than the meat....Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
