Yale competition win nightmare

I won a Yale competition from Real Homes magazine in May (a makeover worth £1000)
Needless to say, I have been chasing them ever since to come and install the products I chose, I had an appointment for today (3.5 months later) which was cancelled this morning.
I am getting sick and tired .... wondering if someone else has similar experience as I see lots of competitions from Yale.

Hi Vera,
How awful. Can totally sympathise with you. It's hard enough winning a prize and then to have to chase for it is terrible.
Have you contacted Real Homes about this?
Perhaps give them a few more chances and then if worst comes to worst perhaps you could bring it up with Edwin Mutton at the Institute of Sales Promotion.
Good luck.0 -

I know the feeling, I've had the same thing with a Real Radio competition in which I won an Ipad..
Won the thing back in July and was told someone would be in touch within 28 days, needless to say I heard nothing.
Been emailing real radio back and forth now for 2 weeks and they are just taking the michael with it allsaying they will email with an answer later in the day and not hearing anything, I just want my Ipad lol
anyway good luck with your yale thing, I know it's annoying0 -
Did they not arrange another date?
Maybe contact the IPM?0 -
Always worth posting a message on the Yale UK Facebook page mentioning your disappointment with their service.0
