Prosearch appointed by Lloyds Bank

I have received a letter from the above company stating my details have been given to them by Lloyds to trace me as I have some unclaimed share income.

I am requested to fill the form in for which I will receive the shares income less 12.5% + VAT :eek:

I think they must be some old Halifax shares they converted when Lloyds bought them.

Does anyone know who I need to contact at Lloyds to claim my share earnings myself?

I too have received a letter from Lloyds/ProSearch regarding dividends due, again relating to old Halifax shares. I googled Lloyds along with ProSearch and the Lloyds website does state that they have launched a tracing programme with ProSearch to identify people who are due money. I am still suspicious and will contact Halifax myself not least because I don't see why I should give an organisation any fee to pass on to me what is mine in the first place.
