GHD straighteners

I've been asked to get a present for a relative and know that I NEED to get GHD branded straighteners.

It appears that there are 3 models a MK4 a professional and the classic.
They look very similar (to the lay-man) can anyone reccommend which set are best for a lady in her fifties.

I've seen the MK4 which appears to be the latest model for £99 delivered from https://www.hqhair.com and the other for around £10-£15 less.

thanks

    thanks

Depends on her hair length/type and desired style!

The MK4 are a straightener and styler, which basically means you can curl/flick too.

The thinner plates ones are better for shorter/thinner hair IMO, whilst the wider plates ones work best with long/thick/curlier hair.

If it were me, as a girly (albeit younger than your relative) i'd go for the MK4. More versatile. But then again my MK1's are still going strong.......:T

    HTH;)

    P.S She's a lucky lady!

    Long hair - wide plates
    Medium hair - med plates
    Short hair - narrow plates

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Mrs Death got these from Look Fantastic £29 from £99 including a really useful heat resistant pouch.

She is very impressed for the price and glad she did not go for the GHD ones.
