£30 to £40 by a professional sweep or £20 for a set of sewer rods from argos and £5 for a brush attachment from amazon.

I had my first clean done by a professional to rule out any problems and do my own now every 6 months.
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

Mine charges me £27. Nice bloke too and he's registered as a professional chimney sweep with about 30 years experience.

I can certainly give you a number for mine if you are in his area. Whereabouts are you?

Too far for my man. I'd suggest a wee goggle or go to a shop which supplies fireplaces and chimney and make a wee enquiry there.

Likewise. Helpful as he is I think a 120 mile round trip would be a no-no.
  • I have a reliable chimney sweep for you. Him and his dad have been cleaning my parents chimney now for the past 15 years and is now doing mine. Never a problem, always clean, putting down sheets and paying good care leaving the place nicer than he found it. PM me for contact details, highly recommended he’s about 30 quid
  • Can a one send me a PM for reliable/cheap chimney sweep in South Belfast. Thanks
