Help! Which Icing?

Hi everyone,

I am making some cupcakes for my friends daughters birthday party on Friday and she wants a variety of toppings. I am making vanilla, lemon and chocolate cakes and some will have buttercream icing but i want to make some like these but what icing are they?? I am thinking Fondant?

For some reason the link only shows up when I hover over all the threads, when I click to read your whole post the link isn't showing :undecided. If it's the ones under the bear then they look like fondant incing. The others on there look like buttercream or just coloured ready-to-roll icing

Do you mean the pink buttercream swirl with the brighter pink butterfly, butterfly looks like a wafer butterfly.

If I'm looking at the right image, the back three cupcakes have a buttercream topping and the front three are covered pink or lilac fondant with an embossed flower pattern . All the pink and lilac butterflies are made from fondant.
