iTunes Giftcard Promotions

I am thinking of getting my two Nieces iTunes Giftcards for
Christmas, as they are really into using their Ipods, laptop etc.

Finances are going to be very tight for us again (as Partner is still struggling to find work) so I have actually started getting bits & pieces together to get creative for the first time and make a few suggestions from other threads "pots of gold" etc, to help save some money/budget. We have agreed with family & friends to buy for the "children" only this year.

In Boots on Saturday I noticed that the iTunes giftcards were on promotion with 15% off until 17th September...
ie. £15 voucher costs £12.75, but realised if I got them now 3 months would be used up on the 2 year validity by Christmas.

My question is do Boots or other companies do this type of promotion nearer Christmas, and when or where I should start looking?

I am trying to be very MSE this year, as every penny counts!

Tesco have been known to do a £5 off £20 offer on itunes. I would try and wait a little longer and see what comes up x

Boots may well have 15% off nearer to Christmas. But I'm going to buy 2 £15 cards tomorrow for Christmas presents. I'm going to buy them separately as the double No7 voucher is being given out at the moment - £3 off make up and accessories and £5 off skincare. And it's currently buy one get one half price on selected cosmetics.

And I'll get 48 advantage card points for each card.

Apologies Pinklady, I missed your reply. And apologies for giving misleading information.

I didn't get around to buying my iTunes card so will wait until nearer christmas. I felt sure I got Ad Card points last time I bought one. I know I definitely got points the last time I bought a mobile phone top up but that was a couple of years ago.

Not exactly an offer but Tesco do a pack of 3 x £10 ones, so if you have 3 people to buy for it reduces how much you need to spend per head though obviously the value is smaller.
