I'm in your corner. Although, as you know, I can't give you advice on paying off debt but I can appreciate depression and spending and/or putting your head in the sand.
Good on you girl for wading through all this. I remember the first time you posted - boy were you stressed. Today I look at your posts and can see there's a plan there. Well done P

Thank you all.
My depression has taken its toll over this past week and I’m so temped to just throw in the towel. I know I cant which I think is making me feel worse!
Fuddle, Thank you so much for your continued support. I know I’ve been a hag! Lol.
NSD8!
I’m over the moon to have gotten this far. However, Its going to be a spend weekend again. I think I’m going to try and target the weekend for bills / shopping & general spends. Therefore I wont count these in my NSD.Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.

So I spent all of Monday afternoon emailing the companies I owe money too and today one of them have got back to me saying that - They no longer hold an account for me as the company has asked them to remove me from their system. Strange, As I haven’t heard from the company itself.
Although that brings my debts down, I’m nervous about “getting” the debt incase it causes a knock back affect for me later.Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.

Depression really is awful when you are trying to deal with stuff like that and there will always be good and bad days. I know its easier said than done but it is important to try and focus on those positives no matter how tiny as they are all a step in the right direction.

NSD 9.
Should have been 10, But yesterday i had to nip to the shops for some emergency supplies. Gutting really as i would have only been 6 days short of my NSD target.:mad:
I'm amending my first post today as most of the companies have gotten back to me now which means i can start getting on a even kill.Future goals:

So my depression has reared its ugly head and the past few days has been so hard. I’m struggling to focus on anything right now. Especially debt busting. Although its making me feel guilty.
I know that any little payment towards the debts will help shift them. My heart tells me this. But my head is telling me to just bloody ignore them & they “might” go away.
I think another thing that’s knocking my confidence is my OH. He’s on board with becoming DF, But still wants to spend his wages like he has no care in the world. Trying to make him understand that all the nice & wanted things (Like us getting a mortgage) ect isn’t going to happen all the time we have debts isn’t getting through to him at all. This morning he was looking at cars as he wants on to learn to drive in.
So far in regards to spending I feel we have done well. No where near as bad as we normally would but I understand that this also needs adjusting too.Future goals:

So I’m still feeling no better from my down day yesterday. But I managed to pay some of each of the debts. I will be taking the amounts off the full total owing as I feel that works for me.
I’m fuming with EDF as I have tried more than once to get a response from them about the full amount I owe them. This has all spiralled out of control since they was charging me twice for having a prepayment meter.
Also, Now the weather has changed I have a good few items I’m considering selling which might help us add a little more to the debts. But trying to work out if the postage is worth the hassle as their not huge items. Mainly clothing ect.Future goals:
Become debt free.

NSD 16! Should have been 17, but Saturday's is when bills / shopping is brought therefore not counted.
So, Just waiting for OH to get paid. Tomorrow most of the bills goes out so that should at least leave some money to pay off the debts. However, The biggest loan payment also goes out tomorrow so should be able to amend the total of that for another month.
I also need to speak to the bank about the loan, Because we have no options online / telephone ect to pay off extra amounts if we want to. Seems strange they don’t allow this?
Another £20 paid off on last years council tax.
I had a appointment yesterday about this years C/tax, It seems we owe them £60, Although before I can add this as another debt / bill I have to wait for council tax to send me a statement as there seems to be some confusion over payments.
I have written / issue payments for:-
Water £12.97
&
Catalogue £9.52
I know it doesn’t seem much, But it will bring both of them debts to even numbers (Until the water board issue me with another bill in OCT?)
Looking at your income / outgoings it seems we’re still struggling under the strain of things. But, I WILL get there. I have too right?
Tomorrow is planned as food shop day. I brought the A!di paper with MOC therefore I have a shopping list of £41 pounds -£5 off.
The £5 off will then be used in !celands to get some frozen bits in.
I’ve also budgeted £10 for “work away” items which OH needs as he is away next week for 2 days (Only one night)Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0
