I made the mistake of opening a bag of diced onion and leaving half in the fridge. This was months ago and still it smells of onion every time I open the door. I seem to remember someone posting how to get rid of smells from fridges but can't remember if it was to use lemon or not. Help. Hate the smell of raw onions.

Maybe a small bowl of vinegar? I seem to remember that vinegar attracts odours but I might be completely wrong.0
