If it is Nigg she is off to, then it is not an island. It is about 35 miles north of Inverness, or Tesco town as it is known for the number of Tescos per population.

even if this all goes wrong what a chance of a lifetime for a young girl to try and prove herself.

Quite right too! I was only 19 when I was offered the opportunity to co-ordinate events in a hotel in America... best year of my life so far!

What I loved most was getting things sent to me in the post so even though you are making the hamper you could also buy in things to post off once a week or once a month etc.

I simply love these ideas. You could easily adapt something which would be more useful to her.

you could also include a recipe book with the family's favourite recipes in?
  • A friends son moved away from home to uni. and the family come up with the following ideas:

Laundry bin: filled with, towells, loo rolls, toothpaste, bathroom cleaner + cleaning cloths and anything else they could think of for the bathroom/loo

Kitchen Bin: filled with, tea towells, j cloths, cleaner, tin opener, basic food stuffs etc.,

Waste paper bin: With writing paper, envelopes and stamps, telephone/address book with everyones address, telephone numbers and birthdays etc., stamps, tissues, family photos etc.,

Can't remember what else though. I know they had virtually everything sorted by doing it this way.

    Hope it helps.
