Debt Managers (Services) LTD

Hi
I received a letter out of the blue around a week ago from Debt Managers Services LTD. It was a very vague letter saying that they were searching for someone and that they thought it was linked to my address. It also said if I didn't respond in 7 days then they would assume it was me. The letter was in my maiden name and I have since married. As the letter was so vague I wrote back saying I couldn't verify anything as I didn't know what it was regarding or if indeed it was for me. They have written back today and advise that it is a Santander account and the amount owed. It is very vague again just asking me to confirm whether or not I lived at an address. I did live there but it was around 3 years ago now. I have had various problems and debts and at one point I had several store/credit cards so it is possible that I had a Santander one but I am not certain whether I did or not. Basically I would like some advice on how to respond. If I have a debt that they're chasing I would like to pay it off, but similarly I don't want to respond to such a vague letter and perhaps acknowledge a debt that isn't mine.
Many thanks
