Rockwell debt collectors ?!!

Hi I'm new here and would like a little advise . I was contacted by Rockwell recently as I have some outstanding debt ( not alot) but still along with everything els I pay every month it's just another thing ! I had a letter saying I could set up a paypment plan which I did though a company called tressera and even had a confirmation. Email saying that monthly payments will be taken ( over 12m) I was happy with this until bloody Rockwell rung me up a week later bugging me to pay more and more very month to the point I was annoyed and in tears !! they said that it needed to be agreed with them first when setting up a payment plan?? But they took the first instalment straight away ?? I'm confused any help as I don't want to pay more than I am already .

Don't pay any more then. Put an offer in writing, and say that under no circumstances will you go above that. Then just pay it every month, and Rockwell can just lump it.

Time to send them all the prove it and CCA request letters.
They may have the "file" for the debt but they need to hold the actual credit agreement to collect the debt and many of these two bit debt firms do not as it is rarely passed on as part of the debt file as it is used as bond for further lending.
Someone should be able to point you o some template letters or you can try and message the user FERMI who is the undisputed board Guru on challenging debt collectors.
    Be happy...;)
  • Thanks do much for the great advise both , ill print off my agreement . I just can't handle anymore phone calls from them bullying me into paying !!
