What little things do you do to pay off debt/save

            Hi,
I became debt free a couple of months ago, so completely understand how a couple of ££'s here and there help to achieve debt freeness....some things which helped me along the way....- Taking lunch to work every day
- Not going out at the weekend - although now I am too tired after a week at work, it is nice to be at home
- Sign up for the no spend day challenges
- Look at your mobile contract - some people at work have the latest phones, and are paying £40 per month with capped data....mine is £12 per month (sim only) with unlimited data
- Look at the dfw small things thread daily....some good ideas on there
- Make a payment a day
- Read Martin's email each week
- Look at your travel costs, and see if you can commute cheaper
- Become a fan of porridge - when my debts were at their highest, I realised that porridge was the cheapest thing to eat...it keeps me going all morning, and at the time cost 5p + milk each day
- Look at what you're spending on your groceries each week.....look at batch cooking, and adding lentils to things like lasagne and Spag Bol - it's cheaper and healthy
- Look at the recipes on a girl called jack - some of the recipes look really good
- At the end of the week, before you go food shopping, chop up and freeze all the bendy veg - when I moved back with my mother, she used to throw the veg, now I've have bags of celery, carrots etc in the freezer
- In winter make soup rather than buy it
- When supermarket shopping, try the basic ranges - some of the products are so much cheaper, and there is no difference in quality

Think that is about it for me, hope there are some good ideas there
