Competitions on wedding websites

I was just wondering, what do people do when the entry form asks for a wedding date? Does it put you off entering or do you just tend to make one up?

I just put the year (that we are planning)
If it has to be a specific date then I make it up for that year.

proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl
  • I put my own actual wedding date (1992), if I get drawn out and they decide not to give me the prize then that's fine. I don't enter comps for things that are specifically for weddings because I don't want to take a useful prize away from someone that needs it but if it's vouchers or some kind of generic prize then I go for it but I'm honest with my wedding date.

    Pretty much this!!
It's rare I enter a comp on a wedding site, but as said above if it's something like vouchers, then I will put in my own wedding date, 15 years ago!
Occasionally it's asked what member of the wedding party, if that's the case then I tick guest, and put in the date of my cousin's wedding which I'll be a guest at next spring! :)
  • I also put in my correct wedding date (2003), except earlier in the year I put 2013 as i was celebrating my 10th anniversary and was looking for some wedding type wins. Now that's over, I stick to 2003!
