    Evening all

Ooh there was a food festival in the town today. Wonder if it was same one? Mine was in mold, north Wales.

I'm sure there are people who at least lurk here/ on other sites, as today I found no hair dryers/ straighteners in boots or toilet paper in tesco :(

However I do have something to contribute.

    Drum roll please .......

Whsmiths had some DVD + magazine sets previously £4.99 down to 99p. Titles I can remember are Bourne DVD ( can't remember which one), Casper, back to future, Peter Pan, mama Mia, nanny McPhee.

The DVDs are worth 99p, but they make nice birthday sets. I got a few :T

    Hope this helps.

Sorry Mold is my local, I was at the food festival today. Ate far to much and the cider wasn't bad either :)
  • QUICK QUESTION.

if u buy just one item from a multibuy deal and it doesn't show on an APG would that be a trigger or does it only show when buying as part of a multibuy?

    Evening all :)

Last week ahead now with DS2, then on my ownsome....

FC, do hope journeys/parting, was OK for you today.
I was about seven when I fell down the stairs at home (one of many times, mind you:o), I'd just been to hospital to get some stitches in my head, split open the stitches and had to go back to hospital to get them put back in:rotfl:
I used to fall over a lot when I was little, the school thought there was something wrong with me, and made me have loads of tests (hearing, balance, etc) - turns out I just fell over a lot.:)

Heard a good saying this evening, not heard it before:

Said of someone who has fallen over, "they were measuring their length", thought it was so apt!

Yes if there's a Multibuy and an item that's in that promotion doesn't show, it's a trigger. That forces the other item/s to compare at their full price even though you've paid Multibuy price instore HTH

Even if I just bought 1 item

Even if I just bought 1 item

No if you bought 1 item it would just compare at it's single item (full) price against the single item price in the other store

I know i said be careful, he is screwing them up and putting i his pocket as if he is going to put them in the bin. Would not want him to get into trouble as its taken so long for him to get a job. thanks any way.
When I had a supermarket Saturday job (many years ago:o) all the staff were subject to random searches including the 'trolley boys', usually as you were leaving the staff changing rooms to go home - in those days it was for booze & fags etc, no such thing as 'wombling' and 'price promises' back then.
