Well I think it's time you organised all 3 or 4 of you, coffee and chat and Ts. ;)

Have met 9 Elite now and each and everyone of them are lovely people. :A:A:A

Some I count as real life friends now, looking after mum took me away from my friends for quite a few years and I too lost lots of friends in my early 20s after a relationship split.

I still can't believe when my friend phoned before her birthday last april, that I have not heard a peep from her since. I was always there for her in hard times but nothing from her. She invited me out and obviously I couldn't go, explained I was living with my mum and it was near the end for her. I never had another phone call to see how things were. I usually let things go but that really hurt me.

Dodo was an absolute angel, popping in and I shall never forget her turning up at mum's with a boot full of whoopsies. :A

Would have been my Mum and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary today, they were not together for their 40th, Dad had passed a few months earlier. But I can smile they are with each other, hopefully, for their Golden. :A
Aww Ts .. so pleased you can smile :A

    Also wanted to say
Despite my dearly beloved (aka grumpy socks) saying don't bother with them I made an effort last week to visit & take a birthday card to my used to be best friend. She was at another friends house. Had a nice coffee and a catch up, but both said when we came to see you last Nov (on my birthday) we were really worried about you 'cos you looked so poorly. I was!!! (just out of hossy having been in intensive care..)

They were so worried that they didn't pop in again or ring, Like you, I was always there for them, through divorce, nervous breakdown, months of hospital visits etc etc.. I always thought that the three of us would end up as the Golden Girls!

Well, I think I have got my head around it now, remember the good times, but move on!

    This is so true.

He rang half an hour ago will be home in an hour then he getting ready to go out .

I asked him if he going to be back tonight or have I wasted my time and energy making his room up and is this just an hotel he doesn't really want to see me:rotfl:

Answer I got .... Yes he would be sleeping. That's to be seen. And me saying him not wanting to see me is bulls doodah and I know it is. So I shouted down phone DO I and he hung up how rude :(:)

tweets (no criticism) he was (from a bloke's point of view) being nice to you saying he's happy to stay and yes he does appreciate it & love you & like to see you (god we find it hard to say this stuff at the best of times) then you overdid it (sorry, of course you didn't in girlsland but for a bloke when you kinda say sorry etc actually I do like you mum, and then get moaned at or similar that's a bit too much).

    Just sayin' ;)

Ah am loving all the comments about friendship following tweets post…….sorry can’t find them all now but someone said ‘friends on tap ‘ and how someone always here when you need them ….so true of the elite and long may it be so.
Flo I have worked in same school for 6 years now and have thus far managed to avoid all social nights out for the same reasons as you restrict your drink on such occasions lol ..I need my job !

Hi guys, have not been on lately as live has been up and down eldest son still driving me mad trying to get rent out of him is like trying to get blood out of a stone, threw him out last week and he said he went to the estate agents and it will cost him 500 a month so my little 25 a week is nothing. have had him back after 3 nights but does not seemed to have changed and still waiting for rent.

On a good note youngest son started tescos this week and has just given me a pp for 1.67 and some clubard receipts. he is working on the trolleys shame the pps are not longer on line.better not complain.
Hugs to all and will try and join in a bit more. x
