Going out is overrated anyway tweets, I hate going to places where everybody is p****ed I can't stand it. People bumping into you and stepping on your feet, I quite like a dance mind you buy can't be doing with the other people so I don't really go out to bars & clubs.
A few years ago I was self employed selling on ebay mostly and hardly had any friends, I joined a gym  to get a bit fitter and to meet new people. TBH my only good friends now are the people I met through zumba and classes there. I don't do the gym now though but I still have the friends! It's a personal thing though because you don't need to be going out all the time to be happy but if you want to change things then sometimes something small can make a big difference.:)
Is a trout an adult then? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Agree about the cats, love mine to bits!
I don't need to go out to have a :dance::dance::dance: if I hear a song on tv I like I often get up and have a bop . I often wonder what the neighbours think if they looking in :rotfl::rotfl:
Last time I went into town the pub music was that loud it was awful and like you say folk stamping on your feet and bumping into you. In Oldham you liable get thumped one nowadays, its supposed to be terrible at night would rather stay safe at home. Gym no I am fit enough all walking I do up and down the hills around here0 -
That's ok there is just me and Poppy (my dog) my mum who I see weekends and DS . I do have a bro younger but don't really get on we like chalk and cheese
I have been divorced 15 years ex at the end was an Alcoholic lying thieving toe rag we had been married 16 years think it was. That's when I lost the few friends I had but if they sided with him I am better without them.
I don't like being in groups so wouldn't join and am quite happy sitting here on lappy watching tv .
HTH
Pleased your happy, it is always better to be unaccompanied, than to be badly accompanied!:o:o:o:o:o

Afternoon
Think I will have MUG painted on my forehead
Rang DS to see if he wanted a pie buying yes he would have 2 and 2 custards. I buy them wont see money. He asked if I would wash his bedding and dry it so say yes. He said he would be here between 12 and 1pm guess what ?
Get a text saying Meeting some friends in Manchester so will be back a bit later xxx I didn't answer this because I was  and he would have got not a very nice text back. At the moment I don't want him to come I feel as though he's just using me
Oh little t I know just how you feel.
When dgs was a couple of months old my ds invited me to stay the weekend at his house . Very nice as never stayed with him always hotel or dd about 20 mins away. Anyway drove the 130 miles and called in to see dd for cuppa. Then had a text, Sorry I can't put you up as gf hadnt cleared spare room so nowhere to sleep.
Ended up staying with dd and went over for the afternoon but not the same when you think you will have all weekend with first dgc.
Personally I think gf had post natal depression but after this obviously I will not book hotel just to see tem as forever letting me down. Last visit I arranged a week in advance but ds was at his dads with dgs. Phoned other son and he asked his dad if I could pop round to see dgs as ds1 had gone fishing down bottom of garden.
Sorry long winded but just want tweets to know that sons can be very hard to pin down at times. Sometimes their birthdays are just that, theirs. I think they forget we had much to do with it let alone that we want to celebrate too.
Poppy probably wandering around sniffing the pies hoping she might get lucky later:)

I went into my local co-op this morning & picked up a packet of 4+4 kitkat chunkies. Expecting to pay £1.69 I was really surprised to be charged £1! I've just come back having bought 4+4, 4 finger kit kats by mistake but was charged £1.69 for these.0

He hates anyone in the house for any length of time and even avoids the kitchen if kids have girlfriend/boyfiend in. He is not grumpy people just make him nervous/clumsy etc.
Friends : well at times like you tweets I have found this forum more supportful than any of them.I have laughed cried and been angry on here. Thats more emotion than others see.
To outsiders I am seen to be fair , a good egg. But I hardly see anyone falling over themselves to be helpful to me.
SO hello tweets. I would like to be your friend :A
Do you live with my OH?? Too many similarities!
I am not asking Tweets to be my friend.. she does not have a choice!! :j:j:j:j:j100 -

Another day of failures....I so wanted bananas, went to Tesco - no organic fair trade bananas.... Went to Waitrose, plenty of organic fair trade bananas but wrong product when scanned with Shopitize....scanned all the bananas.... all scanned as wrong product. Security Guard had his eye on me - for going bananas in Waitrose. Haven't got the will to go to Asda, with the bunch we get in there.0
