  • Of course but I gave her that house which is worth about £200K she should treat me with a bit more respect, not surprised though & the kids come first.

TBH she would be surprised knowing about the yummy mummies who give a pleasant smile to me that is a bit of a come on but I'm just a nice guy so no way thank you, I'm dead sure it happens down here all the time but not interested.

I love me.................. who do you love? :rotfl:

For info., Coke 2Ls are '2 for £3.50' in M. The own brand pops are no longer on 2 for £1.00 in M - they are now 2 for £1.20:eek:.
  • She resents the fact I do !!!! all is the probably correct answer, so the deals don't count.

Yes: I do more than my share of stuff in the house as a house husbandy type and out at our place in Squills Towers which of course I paid for and she'll get when I die but she'd like me to work in a numpty job 40 hrs a week which I can't do I got a bad knee

In my house we had a role reversal about 10 years ago, with the OH becoming a house hubby, and me moving from part-time to full-time, and eventually moving to working away from home (as he did not quiet click that he should work at all)

It is hard for a woman to do this for many reasons:

We were raised to be semi-dependent on a man (sorry I was, and definitely not a man being dependant on us).
We were raised to have a very clean house (my man tries, but never really cleans it! the loo is terrible)
We were raised to be mums, not to watch dad become mum.

It is hard to delegate this to a man, even one you love. And if you are anything like mine.. I have no idea what he does all week, other than the beer goes down, the house gets dirty and the food gets ate.

I know that when he arrived home from work, the house was tidy, the meal was cooked and the kids ready for bed. But now when I get home he asks what are we having for tea!

Be patient with her and remember if is hard.

You're so right, I've been caught out before so now I always run the machine empty on a 90deg wash after using machine dye.

There's often some some dark crud left underneath the rubber door seal, always worth a wipe out afterwards as I find it tends to get dredged back out on a hot wash.

I usually do a 90deg empty wash every couple of months.

It's ROCK AND ROLL in this house baby :o

I did clean the seal as I saw residue.
For that reason I did the dark wash first instead of the white.
Next time I'll take your advice and do an empty 90d wash first. :)

I didn't hit lucky in Poole Boots, no hairdryers or hot rods that I could see.

A few 75% off toys if anyone is there in the morning. Mostly for older kids though so gave it a miss.

Remembered to pick up my Bagpuss T shirts at Argos. :D

    Dammit I forgot

Can someone tell me if the bombay pots are comparing today please. TIA :A

    They certainly are!

I noticed in A's today the Activia 4 packs are £1 each so if you have the Danone vouchers you can get 2 packs for £1.00.

Don't put in a glitch shop against T though it looks like most flavours compare quite badly.

I can't remember the exact link for the voucher but it's live danone or something similar, anyone know please?
