A quick question for you clever folk. My DD S3 has froze on the Samsung.... screen, none of the surrounding lights flash, no vibration, just that screen when the power button is held for ages. Had battery in and out etc and tried holding the 3 buttons as suggested on various threads - nothing. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas before I head out to the phone shop in town. It was just a bit of silliness. And it wasn't the !!!!!! that was funny, it was the comments from this lot. Yes, it was on the juvenile side but it should be said that it wasn't imposed on anyone- especially with Zippy's very enthusiastic warning!

I have had much sarcasm from my OH this morning not in a bad way, I might add. We have a very similar SOH, his has just lost it's way a little the last few years

But he's never offered to make me a sausage butty for breakfast before......:D:rotfl:

From Elite/MSE user perspective, the browser is improved so you can now reload the forum for new posts without having to scroll up to the top, search thread works without closing after a few letters (:j), you can have more than 8 browser windows open (for when you want to have pictures of the glitch item you are looking for) and switching between pages and programmes is smoother with a carousel type effect where you see the full page preview. Seems faster, camera improved ... No doubt lots of other improvements not spotted yet.

Update through Settings, General, Software Update on the phone etc (needs to be charged and at least 2.8gb free space for the install) or through plugging it in to your computer and using iTunes.
