Very happy as it would appear I have a job at Waities :j Passed all the interview processes and have now gone to "job match" which is where they try and slot your hour requests into one of their shifts, possibility they can't match them together but hopeful they will! Will find out for sure W/C 6th Oct but fairly positive they will find some kind of rota to match.

Off to catch up x x

New store - Just bought 3 x bud and cheap fillers, pp of 5p so other items must have made up the above pp?

Still 3 for £22 in this store :).

Well I think I'm about to get corrected so I'll wait until they tell me why my thinking is wrong

True enough - they are charging me money on my credit card so I must be paying something.

never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit
  • It's just that strange situation: you pay (say) £8 on your credit card - but you get a PP for more than that (say) £10.

It certainly feels like you have got something for free.

I guess it's not really free as money has gone out on your credit card but I'll let the experts tell me what the reality is.
  • Very happy mummalove! Thanks to all that have posted!

Been and got 6 lots of Strongbow...:D

Little tip if you are challenged about the price (as I was at self service till). Have on your phone the deal showing on T's website - I showed it to her saying it is being advertised at 3 for £22 which is why I am here buying it. She couldn't really say anything back!

Checked my emails and I am on the Lenor project with SSM...am already on the Ariel pod one, so happy days :)

    I'm not double counting.

I'm assuming you have generated 1 PP with an initial shop, so you have a PP - yes that first shop is a sunk cost but you did actually get some food worth that money.

Now we are in the virtuous circle.

You do your shop. Say £20.

You use your PP. Say £10.

    You pay (say) £10.

You generate your new PP (say) £10.

    Free shopping.

Except actually with today's shop I'm in the sweet spot where they're paying me to take it away.

Actually my maths is probably rubbish lol

But by taking the second PP off you're counting it as a saving on that shop and it's not. You can't use it as a saving until you do another shop. Im no maths genius :D but I always think that this 'double counting' way of doing it makes people think they've spent less than they have

If you think of your PP as a tenner....you paid 2 tenners for your shop. 1 was yours, 1 was what you earned from your last shop. So you've spent 2 tenners and you only get one back. On your next £20 shop you will still have to use a tenner of your own money as well as the tenner you got back (pp) I can't see how that's free shopping.

well that's how I see it anyway :D Im sure others see it differently
