  • Here's the glitch or 'glitch': She buys 2 x Carlsberg & 1 x Bud. £22.

She asks the cashier to remove 1 x Bud. -£15

= £7 as she said, till has left the other 2 as accounted for in the 3 for £22 deal and not adjusted the price back to £30.

Either the cashier was OK and it panned out as the OP said. Real glitch.

Or else somehow the cashier screwed up by refunding £15 for the cancelled Bud? No glitch, just mistake.

I would think it's worth a try but it's so obviously a misprice that any decent cashier would be questioning it with a supervisor unless you hid the booze in with some other shopping.

Honestly......for 75p I don't think it worth the hassle of getting them to accept my receipt! I find it frustrating and would probably do more damage to my phone in the process :rotfl:

    Each to their own

Don't even expect shopitize to pay you 75p back if you withdraw by paypal. It incurs a 5% fee. Unlike MSL which pays you the full amount

I must have missed that part of the T&Cs that said they do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Could get away with it on the Self checkouts maybe?

I had a look through them after you posted this morning and I can't see it in the T&C. The message from the rep in reply to you earlier said that Theres a message when you choose to withdraw to PayPal. Obviously it isn't very noticeable? Im fairly sure you wouldn't have missed it :D
