Honest! - I didn't smash her on the head with a sharp implement
Loadsa blood, no concussion, eat the sweets and it will all go away I hope.
Ouch!
Hope she makes a quick recovery:)Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Funny how that Velvet deal says 10.4p per 100 sht.
I use 3 sheets x 2 per sht so it's more than that.0 -
My dog is suppose to be resting, orders of the vet, well she'd told her - she's doing circuits of my head.0

squilliondollarbaby wrote: »Hi Altojack, where exactly is the green light? It could easily be indicating a power supply issue. Try another power cord from a different machine. Try reseating all the wires.

some googles:
The flashing green light usually signifies standby power for the PSU. It doesn't mean there is enough power for your system to POST. You can check the manual to verify.
My guess is that the PSU needs replaced.
***
Also, since this is a Compaq (now HP), try this:
Unplug the cord from the PC and whack it on a hard surface, like the floor, a couple of times. Then plug it in.
***
First thing to try is to re seat everything and check and re connect all the connections
If you are not comfortable about this have someone do it who is.
If it is the power supply you can't fix it you will have to replace it.

All fixed. I replaced it with the power supply from my older model and it works fine now. Thanks.
***Is nt it annoying. My hubbies pc wouldn t come on as it didn t recognise his password all of a sudden. So I asked on the Techie Board and got a few replies. Some suggested starting it up in safe mode and I just did various things that was suggested and in the end I reset windows to a week earlier when it was working ok and it worked. Hubby was all for buying a new pc lol.
omg    why do I feel as though this could be April 1st

The green light is on the front of the tower where you push to turn it on.
I've switched the whole lot off left it replugged and still nowt
I'm not going to fret over it squills as we have had this comp repaired a couple of years ago, I removed all photos and any documents that I wanted to keep
If I talk to DH nicelyhe may well buy a new one :j
Thanks for the help though and you too emerald :beer:There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

You have to like Coke though as you'll be ordering 28 x 8 = 224 cans plus fillers
Adding in delivery and your sainsbob trick costs 21p a can
Plus you need to spend £1.20 on fillers
Easier to just buy a pack at a time in T IMHOApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
So go over £100 for free delivery?0

Another (single:() womble from tonight - will my luck ever end?:rotfl:
Oh, a bit of a surprise - just got the 'not enough items' on the (fairly long) womble receipt that has somewhat more than 30 different grocery items on it. Must be a lot of triggers on it!!:D:rotfl::rotfl:I'll upload it into a.com and examine what they actually bought...
Unless it is that there is currently nothing at all on a.com/msm due to resetting and updating. Not too worried at having 'lost' anything - lots of £1 and 50p stuff on there so it's almost certain to have been way cheaper anyway. Not sure if anyone else is having a problem?? Once it's come up as 'not enough items' (because the APG via link from msm, or otherwise from A's servers, hasn't detected the items), that's it - it's locked forever at that I think!!0 -
Westvleteren wrote: »Think the 150g were v's M.... Could you check please? And confirm you actually paid £1 each for them?
250g were v T ( I think)
Correct. Sorry to butt in:o:eek: like this. There's no need for confirmation for me - they are £1 each in A (the 150gs).
BTW, although unfortunately compounding anyone's misery, I did pick up the price of the 150g Blackberries on their 'special purchase' at £1 in M last Wednesday - I didn't write it down as I thought these Blackberries were still totally off msm (and therefore, at that time, a trigger for the 2 for £3 offer that they were then in - and still are in, in a phantom way). But I did notice the 150g Blackberry price and retained the info. in my memory about that. Thanks go to Sal for picking up the price anomaly for A on the APG (and also confirming the comparison to M) and thus leading me to find out about the '£1 or 2 for £3' online on them!
EMMAP - sorry it didn't work. I went straight out on my time and without calculating what their effective price would be, so certainly not intending to try to 'beat' anything:). (I thought though, when you posted about Blackberries and S&Gs earlier tonight, what was being planned.)0 -

We had a previously XP PC die over the summer - I guess it was 9 years old. Shame as I had upgraded it to Windows 8 under that deal.
Wouldn't boot and my mate said when the bios is corrupted, no point wasting more time on it.
So I moved that Windows 8 OS to another PC back here in UK, easy to do and made a clunky PC very fast indeed.
That last PC was Windows 7 and normally I would not dream of upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 8 as a complete waste of money.
But it was very clunky & useless, any upgrade took ages, not sure what the kids did but it was an attic PC already as everybody moaned about it.
For £7.50 we got a superfast Windows 8 PC that my son loves, I stuck in 8 gigs of RAM as well for £30.0
