I did get caught out:( Never mind, swings and roundabouts.;) While I was in B&Q I saw some lovely cut glass columnar lamp bases which I fell in love with. There were four on a bottom shelf, and I thought two for the guest room, and two for our room. I picked up two, and DH said that they couldn't possibly be £7.98 each, they were too expensive-looking to be so cheap. I just told him to watch and learn. He started again at the till,:eek:so I gave him a filthy look to shut him up. The lamp bases went through at £24.95 each. I queried the price, they checked the shelves, none anywhere but where I'd found them, with a £7.98 sel, so they said I could have them for £7.98. Needless to say I grabbed the other two as well:p:D So four lovely lamp bases that should have cost £99.92 for £31.92.:j I bought four lovely lampshades as well, and two new curtain poles. As an added bonus I used the 20% off voucher too, so paid even less;) Big thanks to wannapayoff for the info on the voucher.
I was also chuffed that the Dulux paint was all b1g1hp, and I found the colours I wanted on the reduced section, so all my paint for £70 instead of £150.:j
The pizzas didn't matter a jot after this:D:rotfl:
