The 250g ones (at £1.50) compare with Ts at 90p and I needed 2x250g for my jam so I thought that was best. Isn't it? Why is it better to get the 150g £1 ones?

That's the glitch! The £1 ones are showing £1 and in the 2 for £3 on msm, so they are comparing 2 for £3.00 vs £2.00 for M, although only costing £1x2 instore. Avs M comp.

But..I think we may be at cross-purposes. I need to check what we would separately be getting on our different versions (vs different competitors). (300g - 2x150g - was good for me as we're a small family and don't need that much.) Back in a mo. with the effective prices per unit. Glitch isn't necessarily cheapest - but I rushed for it as I felt it looked good - but was I right???

2 x 150g for 80p after APG and APG thinking you paid £3

    80 /300g = 0.26666p / 100g

    A v T

    2 x 250g for £1.62 after APG

    £1.62 / 500g = 0.324p per 100g

    Do we concur? :cool::rotfl::rotfl:

    Yours is £3.24/kg. 81p for each 250g.

    Mine - I would have got 90p for 150g. But APG thinks I paid £1 more, so gives an additional £1. Isn't it 80p for 300g? Having to buy 2 (=the 300g) and would normally get £1.00 x2 vs £1.00 (the price of each for M) x2 = £1.80 net. Minus the £1 (comparing from 2 for £3 instead of 2 for £2) and it's 80p?

    Or - let's do it the 'standard' way - buy 2 for £2 total (£1 x2) but APG sees 2 for £3 and therefore APG is £3 to 10% cheaper than M's £2 = £3.00-£1.80 = £1.20 APG.
    £2 paid less the £1.20 APG = 80p for 300g of blackberries (2x 150g pack).

    Looks like I get 1p cheaper for 50g more blackberries?:T:T Mine is £2.6666..../kg, Aau1???

    Sal: many many thanks again!:T:)

Also saw a bloke take a trolley I 'had my eye on' from across the car park. It had a longish receipt in. Ran after him and said 'oh I left my receipt in that trolley' and asked if I could grab it. Sure he said. Was worth £2.21 :D

Me and DD like to do that also when they have finished emptying trolley and left receipt ask if we can use trolley and plonk shopping bag on top of receipt assuming they will say yes ;) I use the term muggling which DD finds amusing:D
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

Having calculated it, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=63151305&postcount=5017, given that you needed more blackberries than me, I think it would have been 4 packs of 150g blackberries vs Morries.

Just depends if a.com still has the "2 for £3" on the £1 blackberries tomorrow (and also needs to be early doors I feel in order to beat new Morries price collection data going into the system).

Yes we do! Mine has, fortuitously:rotfl:, worked out cheaper.
I think I had an inkling from the weight that it looked good for a pound off the 150g normal pack price comparison. Sixth sense!:D:rotfl:
