New msl offer observations.
T have over 600 offers listed.
1. No fresh fruit.
2. No fresh veg.
3. No fresh meat.
4. No fresh fish.
5. No fresh bread.
6. No booze.
7. Nearly all the offers are for unhealthy junk food.
8. The cashback @ 25% is rubbish.
9. Trying to sell sun cream to people when we are headed to autumn is just dumb. No doubt some will take up the offers.
10. Marks out of 10. None.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Hope so not been before:D Thats if i master M25:rotfl::rotfl:
I'm becoming quite an M25 expert.
Travelled to Dorking and back this evening. Only problem was the bloomin M3, 5 mile hour as soon as I got on it on the way back so 45 minute delay on what was meant to be a 2 hour journey back to Poole.
Started to feel tired on the way home but am surprisingly very awake now. Anyone still up?0 -
Not sure what qualifies, I drink a few beers daily.
Brewing my own has always appealed.
I'm looking into an allotment
As for work, I take it as and when, it goes with the trade.
All ok here if you ignore everything :rotfl:
Hope all is ok with you and yours.
Mr TS brews his own, he has just done a barrel for xmas. He has not bottled it this time got a pressure cap for the barrel apparently. It's the garage now, so hope it does not explode.
Don't look into a allotment, get your name down quick, most places have pretty long waiting lists now. Will give you plenty of time to decide if you want one or not.0 -
5mph is FAST.
I can't believe today it took me over an hour to go 1 mile - I just went around the roundabout straight back home even that took me 15 mins for just over a mile.
I HATE traffic jams with a vengeance. It took me back to when I used to work out here (I go past old work-place) and I lived about 7-8 miles away at the time. The only dual carriageway at that time lasted about 500yds then we went onto single carriageway roads. I used to leave work at 4.45 and usually entered the house at 6.15 - 6.25. I decided to stay on and do overtime leaving work at 6.45 I could get home by 7pm. A bit of a no brainer really - more money in my pocket and no hassle driving back home.
I have a feeling that here at the moment they are trying to take advantage of European grants - there are SO many roads being dug up everywhere (many until end of Nov!) that many roads are now down to single carriageway, traffic lights too.
I wonder if that's why we're having SO many fatal accidents around here that it's shocking. I also wonder if 'road rage' & 'road stress' could be to blame for some of the murders that also have taken place in last few days/weeks.
Guess I've been living in a bubble recently and hadn't realised so much had happened recently in our normally very quiet area.0 -
Friday night and everyone is asleep.
I had a giggle earlier tonight, I asked DD1 if I could use her laptop to catch up while in Dorking.
She opened the page for me, forgetting it would log her on, apparently she has been a member herself since 2009! So she could be nosey about me.
I had to resist posting using her addy, I couldn't stop laughing as it was a humourous take on mine. She has never posted but perhaps I can persuade her to join in when she is on maternity leave.
I do wonder how many goodies she has already known she would be getting at xmas last few years. :rotfl:0 -

We phoned home and OH checked and said there were roadworks on that stretch but it did say 2 incidents as well. :(Funny thing was lots of road signs telling us only 1 lane open but we never did actually merge into just the one, and you could not swap lanes as everything came to a standstill several times. Just after the junction for Legoland things sorted themselves out, I was still waiting to go to one lane for ages though but it didn't happen.
Hope you have a better day today.0 -
